Seasoned Prayer

Every month, our pastoral team gathers together for a day of celebration for all God has recently done in their respective villages. If you can imagine a room with 32 pastors ministering in tribal villages in Coastal Asia, you will want to join their celebrations!

Just recently, Pastor PK, who has been working in his villages for about 30 years, shared his testimony. It was brief, but it reaffirmed faith in our God when life’s challenges become overwhelming.

Recently, Pastor PK fell very ill. He was diagnosed with both typhoid and malaria. It hit him hard, and he was totally bedridden for several days. The doctors were brought in to treat him, but all agreed that he might not survive. Malaria by itself is enough to end the life of a healthy man. Couple that with Typhoid, and the prognosis is grim.

Word was received by our Lead Pastor, and he notified all the pastors, and Pastor PK’s church members were also notified. Immediately, they began to pray for God to heal him from all disease, to strengthen him, restore him, and raise him up off his sickbed.

Although the situation didn’t look good, God intervened and answered the prayers of men, women, and children. Pastor PK was miraculously healed! He got up from his bed, and his strength and health were restored.

Because of God’s grace and healing power, Pastor PK is now able to continue his ministry in his region of Coastal Asia. He is healed! God be praised! Let all rejoice in the miracles of God at work in His people!
