What is Bridges International?

As an outreach ministry of The Way Church, Bridges International is a global ministry focused on discipling believers and transforming communities through the Gospel. Our purpose is to build "two-way bridges" connecting the Church with churches and people groups worldwide.

Where is Bridges International active?

We currently have ministries in India, Mozambique, Brazil, and Uganda. We are also active in the Local Central Ohio (USA) area.

What does my donation cover?

Your generous donation fuels our comprehensive mission to serve communities both locally and globally. Specifically, your support covers two main areas. First, it funds Local & International Outreach, which provides essential needs, including food, tutoring, discipleship, pastoral training, and school supplies for children, while also supporting local initiatives such as church planting and equipping leaders through pastoral training. Second, your donation supports Community Development programs designed to build self-sufficiency, including skills training and economic empowerment programs.

How do you ensure accountability?

We believe in full transparency and accountability. All funds are sent to our trusted partners on the ground, such as Smile Africa Ministries and Emmanuel Church Ministries, among others, who oversee their distribution. We work directly with vetted local organizations and leaders to ensure every dollar is used effectively and responsibly to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

Our long-term goals are centered on our mission of discipling believers to live out the Great Commission. We aim to expand our physical and spiritual reach by empowering local leaders to independently sustain and grow their ministries. By building these two-way bridges, we create a lasting legacy of transformed communities and equipped disciples who can continue to share the Gospel in word and deed for generations to come.

What is the process for going on a short-term mission trip?

The process begins with an application. Once approved, our team will work with you on logistics, training, and preparing you for the mission. The cost covers transportation, meals, accommodation, and ministry expenses.
