Sharing a Thanksgiving meal with a family in need is a privilege we don’t take lightly. For the past several years, we have been able to provide the ingredients for a full-course meal, including the turkey and all the sides.

We’re blessed once again to make the Thanksgiving holiday a little easier for families who may be struggling or facing unforeseen challenges.

A complete meal costs $40. Volunteers are ready to begin preparing the baskets. Please click the sign at the left to participate in this rewarding outreach.

Local missions embody the essence of Christ to those around us, as we extend an invitation for them to enter into a transformative relationship with Him. Each gesture of kindness or expression of encouragement contributes to this mission, serving as a reminder that we can connect with individuals in our immediate surroundings.

Acts of kindness play a crucial role in local missions. When we engage in small acts of love, they create significant impacts within our communities. Each opportunity to serve instills hope and showcases God’s love in action. As a community of believers, we are called to share our time, talents, and resources with those in need. These circumstances provide moments where God can be revealed through our actions. Every act of kindness presents a chance to share the goodness of our Lord with others.

Local team provides spiritual encouragement

The Bible teaches us to bring relief to anyone who is weak or is at a social disadvantage. As believers, we share a duty toward helping the sick and elderly.

Our passionate leader has served in nursing home ministry for many years. She is diligent to prepare a Scripture-based devotional, selects songs that resonate well with the elderly, and the entire team spends one-on-one time with residents. A simple hug. A word of encouragement. A listening ear. That’s all it takes!

If you are local to the Mansfield, Ohio area, you are welcome to join the team. Please complete the volunteer form, and we will be in touch.
