Overwhelmed

We recently received communication from our Lead Pastor in India. As we carefully read his message, it is clear that his heart is deeply burdened not only for the pastors but also for the many people living in the rural villages who have been severely affected by the recent cyclone, Mandha. This powerful storm struck Andhra Pradesh with great force, causing extensive damage to crops and farmlands, which unfortunately means that the livelihoods of countless families and communities will face significant challenges in the days ahead.

“Most of the crops have totally fallen down to the ground and many of our pastors are also affected. Please pray for them. Since the crops are damaged, the prices of daily needs have been increased. Please remember all the pastors in your valuable prayers.”

Unfortunately, the travelling expenses for the pastors have significantly increased since the Chief Minister implemented a new law offering free bus services exclusively for women. As a result, there are now no available buses for men to use, because the buses have become overcrowded with women passengers. Consequently, our pastors have been compelled to rely on private transportation, which is considerably more expensive than the previous public transport options.

We kindly ask you to continue praying for God’s provision for these dedicated pastors, so they will be able to travel for their monthly meetings, carry out their essential ministry responsibilities, and lead evangelistic crusades. Their hearts remain pure and steadfast, with a deep longing to bring the lost to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, even though cultural and religious challenges often make their work very difficult.

Please use the “Donate” image at the bottom of the page. Your gift (one-time or recurring) is deeply appreciated. As always, we appreciate your partnership as we invest our prayers and support in this dedicated group of pastors and families who have sacrificed much to spread the message of Jesus’ love to as many as will hear. Thank you!
