More Blessed to Give

It’s true! It is a greater blessing to give than to receive! We’ve all been on the receiving end of things during our lifetimes. It’s such a humbling experience, wrapped in thankfulness and gratitude. But, it’s been proven by testimony after testimony that the greater blessing comes in giving.

It would be hard to compare the blessings that came with this past Holiday Season … the giving was ABUNDANTLY blessed as was the response of those who received.

Bridges’ Local Mission team was able to prepare gift baskets with Thanksgiving meals (complete with turkeys) for several local families. Not long afterward, two local families were brought to our attention who needed a special blessing to provide Christmas for their families. Our Local Mission team went to work and made sure both families were ABUNDANTLY blessed with gifts received with overflowing thankfulness. The joy in receiving was an added blessing. However, the joy in giving was immeasurable.
