Missions Driven
It was on that first actual mission trip that God challenged me like I’d never been challenged before. I felt almost like God had cornered me and forced me to see a part of me I never acknowledge existed, a part of me I didn’t like. Yet, on that life-altering day, in the company of young men and women from many nations worshiping God in their own native tongue … I heard the voice of my Father.
The Appointed Task
Jesus' last words to His disciples were missional and critically important to the Kingdom of God. In fact, they were so important that they were repeated in all the Gospels and continued into Acts. The greatest hindrance to the Great Commission is the lack of hearts and hands willing to respond to the mandate every believer has to spread the message of the Gospel throughout the earth.
Making Disciples
Those who are mature believers cannot dismiss the clarion call to disciple new believers. It is not only our duty, but it is a divinely-purposed privilege every believer grounded in Christ shares.
Orders From Headquarters
The Great Commission is our offensive weapon. It is the battle plan for the Army of God to raise the banner and advance against the kingdom of darkness using the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It must be used — the Gospel of Jesus Christ must be activated against the principalities and powers and rulers of darkness.
Abigail’s Call
Abigail VonSchleshinger is a blended profile in honor of many missionaries who have served in some of the poorest regions on the face of the earth. Her willingness to follow God wherever He would lead is mirrored by men and women throughout the ages who have answered the call to the nations. “Go ye therefore …” Abigail did, will we?
