The ministry in India is dedicated to raising courageous leaders and delivering holistic care in the remote tribal regions, often operating in areas where the message of hope is actively opposed.
WHAT WE DO
Empowering Leaders: We provide vital support, teaching, and fellowship for 32 frontline pastors who shepherd 47 churches. These pastors serve in challenging tribal areas, standing firm against significant opposition.
Frontline Evangelism: As often as resources and manpower is available (usually once or twice a month), we launch large evangelistic outreaches into unreached villages, resulting in new disciples and the planting of vibrant local churches.
Leper Colony Care: We extend comfort and community to individuals in two leper colonies, meeting their immediate physical needs while providing spiritual and emotional support.
Future Generations: We offer a discipling home for a small number of orphans, integrating them into the ministry to become the next generation of spiritual leaders.
OUR IMPACT
Our pastors are heroes of faith, walking grueling distances and enduring threats to advance the Gospel. In one powerful moment, a hostile mob surrounded an outreach—but their anger was broken. They were silenced by the message, listened intently, and many souls accepted Jesus that same day. This is the enduring power of faithful presence.
HOW TO PRAY
Increase Leader & Leper Support: Goal to increase monthly pastoral support from $300 to $500, plus a new $300 per month dedicated to the care of the lepers.
Rebuild the Orphan Program: For several years, we operated a home for orphaned children, providing meals, shelter, educational opportunities, and discipleship programs for between 20-30 children. The children were reunited with family members when changes made it impossible to continue to support the children. However, seven young adults remain with the Local Leader’s family and continue to work in the church as they discover their gifts and talents, putting them to use for Kingdom work.
Mission Mobility: Funds to purchase bikes, motorbikes, or vehicles to equip pastors with reliable transportation to reach remote, difficult-to-access villages.
Church Infrastructure: Support to build or repair churches in tribal areas.
Please pray for the ultimate goal to establish a Ministry Compound (church, children's home, Bible school) that will eventually incorporate the Carepoint model to address the full range of physical and spiritual needs.
